Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born on March 4 1954) is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara is the proud winner of several prizes, including a Genie Award. In the year 2018, she was appointed an Officer of Canada and in 2020, she received the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara began her career as an actress in 1974 when she was in The Second City, an improv comedy group in Toronto. Alongside John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the primary casting for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara as well as Candy started work in Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara won an Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her outstanding writing for a Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the new Second City artistic advisory board headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
